Slip rings

Slip rings are used in system requiring transmission of electrical power and/or signals from a stationary to a bi-directional, intermittent or continiously rotating structure.

  • SVTS A

    These units are available in many standard configurations from 2 to 56 circuits.
    Due to their small ring diameter, the SVTS A series grants low peripheral speed between bushes and rings, as well as reduced dynamic imbalance that means very low wear and long life. To prevent sensitive signals of being disturbed by external perturbations and/or to reach very high data rates, the SVTS A 06 series offers a rotating coaxial contact which allows to transfer signals up to 3Gbps depending of the used cable type. With SVTS A 05 series you can get the perfect balance between compacity and high current rating up to 20A.

  • SVTS B

    SVTS B series is the most compact solution with fibre brush technology. Thanks to pultiple contact points, the faston B Series Slip Rings ensure longer lifespan due to low contact wear rates, while guarateeing low contact resistance. Specially designed for intensive use at high speed and for transmitting power and sensitive signals such as thermocouples ones, these slip rings are particularly suitable for use on flowpack packaging machines. The use of faston type connectors avoids the use of welds that may affect the reading of thermocouple signals.

    Moreover, the IP65 version makes it washable, guaranteeing protection against low pressure jets if watered from all directions.

  • SVTS C

    The SVTS C series is charaterized by a through hole and uses a special technology.

    It allows to get multiple contact points between brushes and rings, low contact electrical resistance, reduced noise and low wear. No lubrication required.

  • SVTS D

    The SVTS D series is characterized by a high protection degree (IP65), a stainless steel (1075) or aluminium (2087) housing and a sturdy mechanical structure. This series is dedicated to both harsh and sanitary environments. A special technology allows to get multiple contact points between brushes and rings, low contact electrical resistance, reduced noise and low wear. No lubrication required.

  • SVTS E

  • SVTS F

    The SVTS F series is characterized by a special design that makes these slip rings very flat (45 mm high) while ensuring the transfer of up to 17 signal circuits and up to 3 power circuits (15 A).

    These slip rings are designed for applications where height is a crictical factor, they provide similar performances that the C Series from which they derive and are maintenance-free.

  • SVTS G

    The SVTS G series uses nickel-plated beryllium copper brushes and nickel bronze rings for power circuits and auxiliary signals ; golden beryllium copper brushes and golden brinze rings for fieldbus. Thanks to its high protection degree (IP67) and its sturdy mechanical structure, this series is particulary suitable for use in hostile environments. No lubrication required.
