° Rotation is driven by dual pistons with threaded pushrods.
° Stroke deceleration is not required due to the limited torque loads and short linear stroke of the pistons.
° The rotation control feature is integrated into the actuator housing and rotation is detected by two sensors that detect the magnetic field generated by a magnetic ring fixed to one of the pistons.
° The actuators can be driven with either air or oil.
° The actuator body is constructed out of hardened anodized aluminum alloy. The rotation spindle, gears, and piston are made from UNI 39 NiCrMo3 nitriding-hardened steel.
