AR DIS rotary actuators with plate

The “DIS” series of rotary actuators, like the “COL” series of rotary actuators is derived from the AR family, but with 4 internal passages integrated into the spindle housing to feed supplemental devices during rotation. In this model, the “distributor,” the point where the supplemental feeding tubes are connected, is joined to the principal spindle and rotates in unison with it.

° The angle of rotation can be adjusted to provide an extra 2° of stroke by adjusting either of the two threaded pushrods and stop block assemblies built into the cap (optional).

° The Stop function is made directly on the spindle assuring precise, reliable performance.

° Deceleration is guaranted by hydraulic shock absorbers, with incorporated cartridge and pressure-tinght, with act on the rack pisto and the rotation can be controlled via integrated sensors, that detect the magnetic field generated by a rubber magnet ring fixed up one of two rack piston. It is possible to have as optional the rotation control with proximity sensors fixed with two external grub screws (to stop the actuator) to detect the spindle position.

° All versions have an internal circuit that feeds both sides of the piston (to obtain maximum torque) which is connected on one side only, to save space. The actuators can be operated with either air or oil, with appropriate operating pressures indicated in the “specification.”

° The actuator body is constructed out of hardened anodized aluminum alloy. The rotation spindle, gears, and pistons are made from UNI 39 NiCrMo3 nitride-hardened steel.

° The loading body uses lubriflon carbon charged seals which guarantees a seal with minimum friction.

° Spindle rotation, supported on pre-stressed oblique’s and drilling lock nut, is assured by a pair of rack pistons made out of treated steel.
